DOES RECOVERY ACUPUNCTURE TAKE INSURANCE?
Yes, we accept insurance, but this is not a guarentee of coverage. Some insurance companies do not cover acupuncture, or may require special authorization before the patient can be seen. To help our patients navigate their insurance, we offer insurance verification and billing services.
HOW LONG IS AN ACUPUNCTURE APPOINTMENT?
The initial appointment on average lasts 1 hr; this includes a consultation which may involve orthopedics, and an acupuncture session. Follow up treatments on average last 30 min.
WHAT SHOULD I DO BEFORE A TREATMENT?
Before a treatment make sure to drink water to stay hydrated and eat a meal or snack to keep blood sugar regulated.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR A TREATMENT?
Loose fitting clothes like sweat pants and t-shirts are ideal. Recovery Acupucture also offers gowns and towels for additional coverage and draping.
HOW LONG BEFORE I SEE RESULTS?
This is a tough question, because results depends on the person. Some individuals respond quicker to treatment, and for others it is a slower process. Depending on the condition, results are usually seen within the first 6 weeks of treatment.
